We know drama

This is the good kind of drama tho. Like as in, dramatic dresses!

The longer center back panels on display. It's so big I can't get a whole picture of it in my sewing room, had to step out the door.Kelldar.com | My Facebook Page | Tumblr | Instagram

I didn’t get a lot done last night. Dinner took forever, so didn’t even get in my sewing room til 9. I cleaned up, and cut out my new train pieces. Almost messed it up, but thankfully had enough to recut and fix it. As you can see it’s so long that I can no longer fit in the room to take a picture of the whole thing (though, it doesn’t help that my door doesn’t open all the way thanks to the 30lbs of garment bags hanging off the back of it).

I still have a few squares of fabric left, but not much. Enough to do the frontpiece and a back closure, and a hood if I decide to make the hood. But I’ve completely ripped through all 18 yards of fabric otherwise.

Tonight I want to get the other sleeve on and then either make the underskirt, or get the skirt pleated. (This pleating should go MUCH better than my previous Anne skirt, that green fabric was so thin and slippery it was hard to pleat. This stuff is nice and thick.)

Chase really questioned adding the longer skirt panel for the train; he was worried about it getting dirty (since it’s white) – but it’s pretty and I like it so I did it anyway.

Now I have to decide if I want to do the gold cape piece – depends on if I have enough leftover after underskirt and sleeves.
